Dutch Offshore Activity On The Rise

Offshore oil and gas drilling continued to increase in the Dutch sector in the week ending June 9, with the rest of northwest Europe lagging behind last year’s levels, a report from consultants Arthur Andersen said. The number of wells started so far this year in the Netherlands was now just two less than the 10 spuds in the same period of 1998.
