Electric Boats Wins $5.7M Navy Deal

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., was awarded on March 15, 2005, a $5,749,058 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed contract (N00024-04-D-4408) for the USS Dallas (SSN 700) Drydocking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (99 percent) and Quonset Point, R. I. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed July 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $5,749,058, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, USN, Groton, Conn., is the contracting activity.
