On July 22, 2009, the Royal Australian Navy replenishment oiler HMAS Success (AOR 304) sends a fuel probe to the guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) during an underway replenishment. McCampbell is underway with the Essex Strike Group in support of the bilateral training exercise Talisman Saber 2009, a biennial exercise between U.S. and Australian forces designed to enhance interoperability.
