Geislinger Expands Operations

Geislinger GmbH of Salzburg/Austria has launched several operations in Asia and North America within the last year. Geislinger develops and manufactures torsional vibration dampers and torsional elastic high damping steel spring couplings for large diesel and gas engines. Geislinger has 250 employees with annual revenue of approximately EUR 30 million. In September 2001 Geislinger Corporation was founded. It is a fully owned subsidiary of Geislinger GmbH and offers Sales and Engineering support, assembly of new Geislinger couplings and dampers as well as full After-Sales-Service of all Geislinger products in North America. The new facility is located on 14 acres of property in the Southwest of Michigan. It houses 3,500 sq.ft. of office space and a manufacturing/assembly area of 12,000 sq.ft with an extensive spare part supply.
