Navy Ships Structure Contract Awarded

T. Carroll Associates Inc., Silver Spring, Md., is being awarded a $7,030,084 cost-plus- fixed-fee (completion), indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for vulnerability and hardening study engineering support. The contract will provide specialized engineering support for vulnerability and hardening studies for ship structures and shipboard equipment subjected to conventional, underwater or nuclear weapon effects. Work will be performed in Silver Spring, Md. (80%), and West Bethesda, Md. (20%), and is expected to be completed by June 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-03-D-0037).
