Submarine Contract Modification

Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $110,872,004 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-2102) for execution of USS Springfield (SSN 761) depot modernization period. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (95 percent), and Quonset, R.I. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $96,926,600 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, USN, Groton, Conn., is the contracting activity.
