The inauguration of the new facility, which occurred on May 23, marked the first U.S. repair center of its caliber to be designated as a factory authorized ABB repair center. Measuring more than 18,000 sq. ft., the facility has twice the amount of space than the previous repair center.

The new center will repair Automation Power Products such as drives and motors; instrumentation and Control products consisting of field devices for sensing, controlling and actuating; analyzers; metering equipment; and control and information systems.

To ensure the utmost in quality levels, ABB has implemented advanced testing to aid customers in the elimination of the high cost of field failures and production downtime.
