Aquatic Engineering & Construction (AEC) appoints Martyn Conroy to Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region.

Aquatic, an Acteon company, has the ability to lay flexible and semi-rigid product on the seabed, with wide experience of off- and onshore installations, transpooling and recovery and decommissioning.

Conroy’s responsibilities in his new role will include leading sales and business development across the broader EMEA region. Additionally, he will share best practice and sales development opportunities with Bill Smart, Aquatic Engineering & Construction Ltd business development manager – North America, and Adrian Chubb, UK service delivery manager.

Conroy has extensive experience in international business development with a strong background in the energy and oil and gas industries. He has served in management positions with Ashtead Technology, RGB Ltd and Hydratight Ltd.

“As with the addition of Bill Smart’s role of business development manager, North America, the creation of this business development function in the EMEA region marks a step change in our global ambitions,” said Aquatic Engineering & Construction Ltd president Chris Brooks. “This position is imperative to enable growth in areas within the region where we have traditionally been less active.”
