November 7, 2006

The entire spectrum of classification services for ship newbuilding, fleet in service and certification of materials and components is being presented by Germanischer Lloyd at the Maritime Vietnam trade fair in Ho Chi Minh City this week. Also, training courses for shipyards, technical support and consulting on rules and regulations are being showcased. The one hour workshop Managing Newbuildings and More, taking place on November 8 during the trade fair, presents an overview of the comprehensive maritime training program by GL Academy. The seminars offer expert skills combined with wide-ranging practical experience. The courses convey the experience and know-how of Germanischer Lloyd and address technical and managerial challenges of shipyards. Germanischer Lloyd is represented in Vietnam already since 1995. Further representations in the North in Hanoi and Haiphong will be officially opened later this week. The location in Vung Tau serves customers from the oil and gas industry.
