Henry Named VP at SEA

Matthew G. Henry (SES-6) has been named as Executive Vice President, corporate development and corporate officer to oversee the Defense and IT Services Group at Science & Engineering Associates Inc (SEA). Henry has over 30 years of experience with the military as a civilian, most recently overseeing personnel management within the Navy managing a $25 billion budget. Additionally, for over 12 years, he was involved in strategic financial planning for the Navy, which has a budget of $100 billion. Henry achieved the highest civilian rank of SES-6 (Senior Executive Service). His most recent position was the Assistant Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (Manpower and Personnel), the first civilian ever to hold this position. Henry will apply his strengths in strategic planning, management and financial planning to his new position which will be based in Washington D.C. and New Orleans, Louisiana overseeing approximately 300 employees in the IT division. His personal goal is to work to achieve a fully integrated information system that Naval entities can use worldwide to manage personnel and to further improve the decision making process. Henry will remain closely linked and supportive of the continuing efforts to migrate to an enterprise solution.
