November 3, 2000

Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) said it had awarded a contract for the building of an LNG carrier to Hyundai Heavy Industries of Korea. The company said the contract was the third to be awarded to the Korean firm and that the ship with a capacity 137,300 cu. m. would be delivered by the end of February 2003.
