Craig International Supplies (CIS) secures a multi-million pound contract with a major oil and gas operator

The oilfield procurement services company has been awarded a three year contract with BG in the North Sea worth between £3million and £4million.

Under the contract, CIS, which has bases in Aberdeen, Cape Town and Houston, will procure a wide range of oilfield consumables and tools and provide procurement services, ensuring necessary supplies are delivered on time and on budget to BG’s assets in the UKCS.

CIS, which operates globally, has reported record sales in 2012. With a turnover of £37million, the company provides an extensive range of products and services to the global energy industry and has a buying power approaching £3million per month. As a result the company says it passes on significant savings to its customers, creating a competitive advantage.

Its state of the art e-procurement service, Ebuy, which provides clients with a bespoke online ordering service available anywhere in the world, has also helped drive new business since its launch in 2011.
