Tru-Marine Houston Joined by Isaac Yohanan

Maritime turbocharger services provider Tru-Marine Group say that Mr. Isaac Yohanan has joined as a General Manager and Director of Tru-Marine Houston LLC. The company inform that Mr. Yohanan will be responsible for Tru-Marine's business and service operation in the US and the Americas focusing on its rapidly expanding presence in the marine and off-shore energy markets in North, South and Central America offering scheduled overhauls, reconditioning and repair services for marine turbochargers.

Cummins Announces Support for EPA Final Marine Engine Rule

Cummins Inc., on behalf of the Engine Manufacturers Association (EMA) affirmed the industry’s support of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Final Marine Engine Rule. Geoff Conrad, Cummins General Manager  Marine, made the announcement at a press conference hosted by the EPA. The Final Marine Engine Rule is intended to reduce emissions from diesel-fuelled engines installed in marine vessels and locomotives. The legislation completes a series of national emissions standards that apply to diesel engines used for a range of major applications. Kahlenberg Acquires Airchime Marine and Industrial Product Lines

Kahlenberg Brothers Company of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, purchased the Marine and Industrial divisions of Airchime Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of Langley, B.C., Canada. Since 1929, Airchime air horns, electric horns, and accessories have been well known for their high quality and durability in commercial marine, industrial, and locomotive applications. All Airchime Marine and Industrial products will now be manufactured in Kahlenberg’s existing facility in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. While some of the Airchime products have competed directly with Kahlenberg products in the commercial marine and industrial sectors, many of the Airchime designs are complementary to Kahlenberg’s existing product line, and greatly expand the range of products that can now be offered by Kahlenberg Brothers Company.
