Keppel Wins Yinson FPSO Modification Work

Singapore-based Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M) has through its wholly-owned subsidiary Keppel Shipyard, secured a contract from repeat customer Yinson for the modification of a floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO).The contract is between Keppel Shipyard and Yinson Nepeta Production Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yinson Production Pte Ltd, for the fast-track modification and upgrading of FPSO Allan. Keppel to Acquire Golar Hilli Interest

KSI Production Pte Ltd (KSI), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Keppel Corp. says it has agreed to acquire 50 ordinary shares representing a 10% interest in Golar Hilli Corporation, which owns one Moss LNG carrier. Golar Hilli is the owner of the Moss LNG carrier HILLI which, as announced on 3 July 2014, is scheduled to be converted into a Floating Liquefaction Vessel (FLNGV) by Keppel Shipyard Limited, another wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. Keppel believes that this acquisition strengthens the alignment of strategic interests between Keppel Shipyard Limited and Golar LNG Limited, and reflects Keppel's confidence in the prospects of Golar Hilli, the world's first FLNGV conversion project.

Keppel’s Logs $8.1B in Contracts in ‘12

Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd's (Keppel O&M) subsidiaries have won three new contracts - worth a combined value of $343mn - to bring the group's total order wins for 2012 to $8.1B. Mr Tong Chong Heong, CEO of Keppel O&M, said, "With the strong confidence and support of new and repeat customers, Keppel O&M continues to be the provider of choice for a broad range of offshore and marine projects. "2013 will be a busy year for us as we continue to focus on the quality execution of all our projects - we are committed to ensure that they are delivered safely, promptly and to high customer satisfaction. Keppel Singmarine Pte Ltd (Keppel Singmarine) secured two of the three new contracts, with the third new contract won by Keppel Shipyard Ltd (Keppel Shipyard).

EMAS to take delivery of FPSOs from Keppel Shipyard

EMAS Production is set to take delivery of one of Vietnam's largest Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels from Keppel Shipyard Limited (Keppel Shipyard), on behalf of owner PV Keez Pte. Ltd (PV Keez). To be managed and operated by EMAS Production, FPSO Lewek EMAS has been chartered by Premier Oil Vietnam Offshore B.V. for the development of the Chim Sáo field off southern Vietnam for six years, with a further option to extend the charter by another six years. The FPSO charter contract is one of only seven signed worldwide in 2009, and is worth approximately US$1 billion.

Keppel O&M Clinches More Contracts

Keppel Offshore & Marin Ltd (Keppel O&M), through its subsidiaries, Keppel Shipyard Limited (Keppel Shipyard) and Keppel FELS Limited (Keppel FELS), has secured contracts worth $114.8m for a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel conversion, a Derrick Lay Barge completion and the life extension of a semisubmersible rig. Tong Chong Heong, CEO of Keppel O&M said, “As market sentiments liven up, we are receiving more enquiries with some new contracts materialising in the last quarter of this year.

Keppel Secures Contracts

Keppel Shipyard has secured three new FPSO contracts worth a total of around S$160 million. These conversion contracts are from regular customers Single Buoy Moorings Inc (SBM), Prosafe Production Pte Ltd and newcomer Four Vanguard-Servicos e Navegacao Lda. The preferred shipyard of SBM in the Far East, Keppel Shipyard is expected to complete the conversion of Amazon Eagle for SBM by the second quarter of 2003. Amazon Eagle is the sixth conversion project that Keppel is undertaking for SBM, which owns and operates the world’s largest fleet of FPSO and FSO. The 307,431 dwt tanker, which has arrived in the yard, will be deployed to the Zafiro field off Equatorial Guinea upon completion.

Keppel Wins S$100m Contracts

FPSO Umuroa has been delivered to Prosafe Production. Keppel Shipyard Ltd (Keppel Shipyard), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Limited (Keppel O&M), has been awarded two conversion contracts, worth a total of S$100 million, one by Prosafe Production Pte Ltd, and the other by Shipping Logistics Incorporated for a long term charter to Perenco S.A. The first contract awarded by Prosafe is for the conversion of a 101,832 dwt double-sided tanker, MT Kudam, into a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility. Subic Shipyard & Engineering Inc (SSEI), an associate of Keppel Shipyard, will carry out the first phase of this FPSO conversion.
