CBO Orders PSV Design from ULSTEIN
Brazilian shipowner CBO has placed an order with ULSTEIN for a PX105 type platform supply vessel (PSV) design and equipment package. The deal encompasses design and an extended main equipment package, including the system solutions ULSTEIN IAS integrated automation system, ULSTEIN COM communication system and ULSTEIN BRIDGE complete integrated radio and navigation equipment. The vessel is designed to comply with the Brazilian state oil company Petrobras 4500 tender, and will be built at Aliança shipyard in Rio de Janeiro scheduled for delivery in Q3 2016.
Brazil AHTS Contract Breakthrough for Havyard
Havyard says it is to deliver the ship design and equipment for four anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels that are to be built and operated by the Brazilian shipping company and shipyard group Grupo CBO. The contract has been entered into by Havyard Design & Solutions, which is responsible for the development of the ship design and for integration and coordination of the equipment packages. The contract also includes deliveries from other business areas in Havyard Group, including Havyard IAS (integrated automation and alarm systems), PMS (Power Management System) and navigation and communications equipment from Havyard Power & Systems. The equipment package also contains equipment from other Norwegian and international suppliers.

Ulstein Design & Solutions has signed two ship design contracts with the Brazilian Shipyard Alianca S.A for the building of two ULSTEIN PX105 platform supply vessels with the X-BOW® hull line design for the Brazilian shipowner CBO. The contracts are worth approximately NOK 150 million.
