FSL Trust Appoint Esben Poulson Independent Director
FSL Trust Management Pte. Ltd. (“FSLTM”), as Trustee- Manager of First Ship Lease Trust (“FSL Trust” ) informs it has appointed Esben Sofren Poulsson as Non-Executive Independent Director of FSLTM, effective from 30 September 2014. The Trust adds that Mr. Poulsson is a well-respected senior figure in the global shipping community with more than 40 years of industry experience. He has been a significant contributor in positioning Singapore as a world class maritime center, acting as an advisor to a number of key trade associations and related bodies in Singapore. He is currently a Council Member and Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Shipping Association and represents Singapore on the Board of the International Chamber of Shipping in London, of which he is a Vice Chairman.
Singapore's Troubled FSL Trust Appoint Independent Audit Directors
Independent directors have been appointed to FSL Trust Audit Committee. FSL Trust Management Pte. Ltd. (“FSLTM”), as trustee-manager of First Ship Lease Trust (“FSL Trust”), announces that Mr. Michael J. Oliver and Mr. Simon S. Davidson, both non-executive and independent directors of the Board of FSLTM, have been appointed as members of FSLTM’s Audit Committee (“Audit Committee”). Mr. Michael J. Oliver, who has over 40 years of international experience in the banking and financial services industry, will serve as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Two New Directors Appointed at FSL Trust
FSL Trust Management Pte. Ltd. (FSLTM), as trustee-manager of First Ship Lease Trust (FSL Trust), announced the appointment of Mr. Simon Davidson and Mr. Timothy James Reid to its Board of Directors. Simon Davidson joins the Board of FSLTM as independent and non-executive director. He is a partner at Holman Fenwick Willan in Singapore and has practiced in the areas of shipping, commodity and other litigation in the High Court in London, the High Court in Hong Kong and in arbitration in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and numerous other jurisdictions over a period of nearly three decades. Timothy James Reid will serve as non-independent and non-executive director on the Board of FSLTM. He is currently a Director of FSL Holdings Pte. Ltd., the sponsor of FSL Trust. Mr.
