Concordia Maritime Sells Three Tankers

Sweden-based shipowner Concordia Maritime announced it has sold three product tankers to a European buyer for above-market prices.The company said Friday that it has entered into an agreement for the sale of the 65,200 dwt vessels Stena Primorsk, Stena Performance and Stena Provence, all built in 2006 at Croatia's Brodosplit Shipyard. The ships are expected to be delivered to their new owner during the fourth quarter of 2022."The agreed price is significantly above the market valuations made mid 2022…

Quark Takes Delivery of New Expedition Cruise Ship Ultramarine

U.S.-based Quark Expeditions has taken delivery of its new polar expedition cruise ship Ultramarine from the Brodosplit Shipyard in Croatia.The 128-meter Ultramarine has accommodations for 199 passengers in 103 cabins, plus 140 crew members. Kongsberg to Equip Triumph Subsea's New Field Development Vessel

Norwegian maritime tech and equipment company Kongsberg Maritime (KM) will deliver a large technology package for Triumph Subsea Services' field development vessel (FDV).Triumph Subsea Services in December 2020 signed a contract with the Croatian shipbuilder Brodosplit for the construction of the vessel, with options to order three more.Kongsberg Maritime said Thursday it had signed a Letter of Intent with Brodosplit Shipyard and DIV Group in Croatia to deliver a large technology package for the vessel.

Triumph Subsea Services Orders Offshore Construction Vessel from Brodosplit

Triumph Subsea Services has signed a contract with the Croatian shipbuilder Brodosplit for the construction of a field development vessel.Triumph said Tuesday that the contract was for one firm vessel, with options to order three more.Options will be executed upon completion of the detailed engineering drawings and upon cutting of steel of the initial hull, Triumph Subsea Services said.The first vessel has been assigned hull number 495 and named ‘FDV Chronos’ with expected steel cutting in March / April 2021. The delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023.

Brodosplit Cuts Steel for Expedition Ship

Quark Orders Polar Expedition Ship from Brodosplit

Quark Expeditions has signed an agreement with Croatian shipbuilder Brodosplit to build a new expedition ship designed for operation in the polar regions.The 13,000+ gross metric ton, 200-passenger ship was designed by LMG Marin in cooperation with Quark Expeditions and is scheduled to be launched in 2020.“This ship will be more than just a ship – it will be an unrivalled operational base for polar expeditions,” said Andrew White, Quark Expeditions President.The ship will carry 20 zodiacs that will be rapidly deployable from an internal zodiac hangar with four embarkation points.

Brodosplit, a ship builder from the Republic of Croatia, has secured an order to build a Polar Class 6 Cruise Ship for an undisclosed client. By signing this agreement Brodosplit solid progress in the realization of their business plans and the inevitable position of the European shipbuilding system that builds highly complex vessels which achieves high competitiveness, said Tomislav Debeljak, CEO of Brodosplit. Steel Processing for Brodosplit Box ship Begins

Processing of steel for Hull's 476, 477, 478 and 479 started on sheet-cutting machine in Shipbuilding Industry Split on 12 November 2015. It is the Multipurpose Container vessels contracted for the company Brodosplit Navigation Ltd. Ships will be 184.43 meters long, 27.5 meters wide and 15.80 meters high. Their individual deadweight at 10.30 meters draft will be 24 thousand tons, and they will be able to carry 2000 TEU (20 feet/6.1 m long container). 18-knot speed will be secured by engines with power of 11060 kW at 100 revolutions per minute. 'Brodosplit' Delivery for Fincantieri Group

By loading fitted sections (grand blocks), with more than 1450 tons of steel equipped with piping, ironmongery components and electric routing on a special cargo barge delivery was executed in Shipbuilding Industry Split Inc. on 5 November 2015. This is the most demanding part of ship’s hull that includes bulbous bow, bow structure with three built-in bow-thrusters, few ballast tanks and hull structure consisting of several decks with built-in equipment. This is the third project for Brodosplit, that contracted building of bow hull sections with Fincantieri Group, one of the largest shipbuilding groups in the world. By these projects Brodosplit proved quality and established excellent collaboration with its Adriatic neighbour.

Steel Processing for largest Sail Boat Begins

Processing of steel for Hull 483 started on sheet-cutting machine in Shipbuilding Industry Split on 22 September 2015. It is the largest square-rigged ship contracted for a Monaco buyer, the company Star Clippers Ltd. It will be 162 meters long and 18.5 meters wide, with deadweight of 2000 tons, five masts and sails with overall surface of 6.347 square meters. The type of Clipper sailing boat with such sail-plan is called barque. Marine platform that will be at the the stern will be equipped with the mechanism for opening and lowering until the sea level so that the passengers will have the direct sea access. The ship will have steel construction while the deck will be fully covered by the highest quality teak.
