Tomlin Named Executive VP, CFO of Admiral Valve
Admiral Valve, LLC, parent company of CPV and manufacturer of CPV high pressure valves and fittings for industrial gas, petrochemical and shipbuilding industry applications, named Kelly Tomlin as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Tomlin, who had held the position of chief financial officer at CPV for the past four years, will assume the expanded role of executive vice president as a key member of the CPV leadership team. This appointment comes just after CPV Manufacturing named David London as president, further positioning the valves and fittings leader for future growth.
China, Vietnam Agree to Manage South China Sea Spat
China and Vietnam pledged to manage maritime differences over the South China Sea and safeguard peace and stability. Communist Party chiefs of China and Vietnam agreed in Beijing on Thursday that two countries should expand cooperation in various fields including maritime exploration and put ties on the right track. According to the communique issued on Saturday, China and Vietnam had âa candid exchange of viewsâ on maritime issues, Xinhua news agency reported. Both sides agreed to manage maritime differences and avoid any acts that may complicate the situation and escalate tensions so as to safeguard peace and stability of the South China Sea, said the communiqué.
Cameroon Navy Takes Two Patrol Boats
The Cameroonian Navy (CN) has taken delivery of two new 24m ARESA 2400 CPV Defender and one new 23m ARESA 2300 LD Craft to patrol and secure itâs coast. Cameroonâs Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Jean Mendoua, commissioned the 23m Aresa 2300 landing craft and two 24m Aresa 2400 CPV Defender patrol boats at the Cameroon Navy Base in Douala on November 21.
