KVH Introduces YOURlink

KVH Industries, Inc. has announced that it is introducing KVH YOURlink, a content delivery service that fleet managers and owners can use to distribute company-produced videos to all vessels in their fleet. The company will be presenting the new service at Nor-Shipping in Lillestrom, Norway, this week. A new addition to KVH’s IP-MobileCast content delivery service, YOURlink takes a process that once required weeks or months of shipping time and the cost of distributing DVDs or flash drives, and makes it nearly instantaneous.

Reality Mobile Gets Sub-contract for Navy Program

Reality Mobile® announce that they have been awarded a subcontract with Oceus Networks to provide enterprise-class real-time mobile video collaboration solutions to the U.S. Navy. The company's flagship product, RealityVision®, was selected as part of a pilot for a new Navy portable maritime Command and Control (C2) system, making this the first operational deployment of 4G LTE for the U.S. Department of Defense. RealityVision allows for the sharing of live video, mission critical data and GPS tracking through commercially available hardware, smart phones, tablets, PCs, cameras,  and virtually any system (including cellular, tactical, Wi-Fi and satellite networks) currently being used for mobile communication, anywhere in the world.

ABS Nautical Systems User Conference,Vancouver

ABS Nautical Systems, the world’s fastest growing provider of fleet management software, hosted its 2010 Annual User Conference, Oct. 12-14, 2010 in Vancouver BC, Canada. The conference hosted approximately 150 industry professionals from more than 50 maritime companies, who learned about the new functionalities and enhancements offered in ABS Nautical Systems’ technology suite NS5.
