Rolls-Royce Wins $32M Indian Naval Contract

Rolls-Royce business Syncrolift Inc., has won a $32 million order to provide a ship lifting system at a new Indian naval base. The shiplift, the first of its kind in India, is scheduled to go into service at the Karwar base, south of Goa, in the state of Karnataka, in late 2004. all Indian Navy vessels up to and including the Delhi destroyer class. 224 installations in 67 countries.
