Vietnamese shipbuilder, the state-run Vinashin, delivered Tuesday two 53,000 ton container ships to the UK’s Graig Investment.
The 623-ft. vessels were built by two Vinashin subsidiaries – Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Industry Company and Ha Long Shipbuilding Company.
The vessels, built at a cost of $30m each, are based on designs provided by Denmark’s Carl Bro Marine.
