Trelleborg Opens Houston HQ for Marine Solutions

Trelleborg said its marine and infrastructure operation in North America has recently moved into its new sales office in Houston, Texas, in a move aimed at meeting the growing demands across all North American markets and providing more localized and coordinated customer support for its complimentary product offerings, which include marine fender systems, docking and mooring equipment, transfer link systems, and navigation and piloting solutions.The new 8,600-square-foot office located on the west side of Houston places Trelleborg in the heart of the Houston metro area.

ABS Breaks Ground on New Houston HQ

ABS has broken ground on its new global headquarters. Anchoring the CityPlace 2 development, the new headquarters will be located near the intersection of I-45 and the Grand Parkway in the Houston area. “This is an important milestone in our 155-year-young history and reaffirms our commitment to Houston,” said ABS Chairman, President and CEO Christopher J. Wiernicki. The new world headquarters will be a 10-story, 326,800-sq-ft building that will house employees from ABS and its affiliated companies. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2018.

UTEC Announces Important Houston Appointment

Leading independent offshore survey company UTEC has announced the appointment of a new Vice President of Measurement Technology at its Houston HQ. Mark Klusza – who holds a Bachelor in Design in Architecture from the University of Florida – brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in the industrial measurement arena. During that time he has owned successful metrology and software companies, and most recently ran the Industrial Measurement and Dimensional Control (IMDC) division for Trimble in the US.
