TotalEnergies Renews Contract for Bibby WaveMaster 1 SOV’s Services

Bibby Marine has secured a three-year contract extension with long-standing client TotalEnergies EP Nederland for its ‘walk-to-work’ service operation vessel (SOV) Bibby WaveMaster 1.The three-year charter extension will begin in the first quarter of 2025, and the vessel will be deployed on the Dutch continental shelf in the Southern North Sea.The SOV will continue to accommodate and transport service engineers and maintenance personnel, supporting gas production activities across…

Bibby Floatel to House Bridge Builders in Denmark

One of Bibby Marine’s floating accommodation barges, ‘floatels’, the Bibby Bergen, is on its way to Vordingborg, Denmark where it will house bridge construction workers. Ports America Announces Refinancing

The Ports America Companies successfully refinanced the debt facilities of both Ports America, Inc. (PAI) and MTC Holdings, Inc. (MTC) into a single, unified capital structure. The refinancing consisted of a new five-year, $475-million senior secured credit facility, including $170 million of revolving credit and letter of credit facilities, and a new seven-year, $375-million Holdco financing. The senior facility was provided by a group of new and existing lenders and led by Royal Bank of Canada. The Holdco facility was provided by CPPIB Credit Investments Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), a global institutional investor with more than $190 billion of assets under management and a leading infrastructure and credit investor.

In the Philippines a large scale rescue of ferry passengers, on the other side of the world, a British fishing boat crew is airlifted to safety, and a man is plucked from rough seas off Aberdeen breakwater. A rescue team from Philippine Coast Guard search and rescue vessel, BRP EDSA II (SARV-002) evacuated 132 passengers from the MV Our Lady Of All Nation after the inter-island ferry ran aground at Danajon Bank, Bohol. The crew of the sinking 18-m fishing vessel RACHEL JAYNE lll  sent out a Mayday as they took to a liferaft 26 miles ENE of Tynemouth Piers.
