Huntington Ingalls Industries Reports 4Q and 2012 Results

Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) reported fourth quarter 2012 revenues of $1.82 billion, up 5.1 percent from the same period last year. Segment operating income for the fourth quarter was $140 million, compared to $127 million in the same period last year. Total operating income for the fourth quarter was $106 million, compared to $121 million in the same period last year. Hornbeck Offshore Q1 2010 Results

Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. (NYSE: HOS) announced results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2010. First quarter 2010 revenues decreased 21.4% to $86.2 million compared to $109.6 million for the first quarter of 2009 and decreased 2.4% compared to $88.3 million for the fourth quarter of 2009. Operating income was $15.7 million, or 18.2% of revenues, for the first quarter of 2010 compared to $45.4 million, or 41.4% of revenues, for the prior-year quarter; and $24.2 million, or 27.4% of revenues, for the fourth quarter of 2009. Net income for the first quarter of 2010 was $2.6 million, or $0.09 per diluted share, compared to $27.1 million, or $1.01 per diluted share for the year-ago quarter; and $9.3 million, or $0.34 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2009.

Hornbeck Offshore Q4 2009 Results

Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. (NYSE:HOS) announced results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2009. Fourth quarter 2009 revenues decreased 27.0% to $88.3 million compared to $121.0 million for the fourth quarter of 2008 and decreased 2.0% compared to $90.1 million for the third quarter of 2009. Operating income was $24.2 million, or 27.4% of revenues, for the fourth quarter of 2009 compared to $56.5 million, or 46.7% of revenues, for the prior-year quarter; and $27.1 million, or 30.1% of revenues, for the third quarter of 2009. Net income for the fourth quarter of 2009 was $9.3 million, or $0.34 per diluted share, compared to $34.6 million, or $1.29 per diluted share for the year-ago quarter; and $13.8 million, or $0.51 per diluted share for the third quarter of 2009.

ACL 2008 4Q and Annual Results

American Commercial Lines Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLI) announced results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2008. Revenues for the quarter were $289.9m, a 4.2% decrease compared with $302.5m for the fourth quarter of 2007. Income from continuing operations for the quarter was $23.5m or $0.47 per diluted share, compared to $23.6m or $0.46 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2007. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) from continuing operations for the fourth quarter of 2008 was $56m with an EBITDA margin of 19.3% compared to $54.5m for the fourth quarter of 2007 with an EBITDA margin of 18.0%. The attachment to this press release reconciles net income to EBITDA.

AMCV Outlines Expansion Plans

American Classic Voyages Co., which is currently engaged in a high-profile effort to build cruise ships in the U.S., recently provided financial information on its expansion plans and its outlook for 2001. The 1,212-passenger ms Patriot, the first ship in American Classic Voyages' United States Lines fleet, just completed a $21 million refurbishment at Cascade General Shipyard in Portland, Oregon. The ship is in Los Angeles for the beginning of a series of inaugural activities that will introduce 6,000 travel agents to United States Lines. The ms Patriot will begin its permanent seven-night Hawaiian Island itinerary with its inaugural cruise on December 9.
