Damen Patrol Vessels for Offshore Nigeria

Damen recently delivered a pair of FCS 3307 high-spec patrol vessels to be operated by Homeland Integrated Offshore Services (Homeland IOS Ltd) in Nigeria, and now the boats are being prepared for their assignments. The boats will be deployed in the Gulf of Guinea to protect and support the offshore assets of Homeland’s clients which include many international oil companies.Features of the 33-m vessels include Damen’s trademark Axe Bow hull form that delivers excellent fuel economy and a top speed of 29 knots together with superb maneuverability and excellent seakeeping.

Homeland Orders Security/Crew Vessels

Nigeria-based Homeland Integrated Offshore Services LTD (Homeland IOS) said it has placed an order with the Singaporean Penguin Shipyard for several Flex Fighter security/crew vessels for delivery in December 2019.The 40-meter vessels are among the first of Penguin Shipyard’s latest generation, fitted with an all-round wheelhouse ballistic protection, machine gun mounts and gunner shields forward and aft. Homeland Signs for Sixth Damen Patrol Vessel

Nigerian-based Homeland Integrated Offshore Services has signed a contract with Damen Shipyards Group for another Damen 3307 Patrol Vessel. The vessel marks another collaboration between the companies, who have been in cooperation since Damen delivered Homeland’s first 3307 Patrol Vessel in 2014.The vessel named, Guardian 6, will join its sister vessels in the Gulf of Guinea providing security services to oil majors operating in the region. It will perform roles such as deterring and intervening in piracy attacks, as well as crew transfers and equipment deliveries.

Damen Delivers Patrol Vessel to Nigeria

Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Ltd (Homeland) of Lagos, Nigeria, has taken delivery of another Damen 3307 Patrol Vessel for operations in the offshore oil fields in the Gulf of Guinea. This takes the total delivered vessels/Guardians since the first arrived in early 2014 to four. Guardian 4 has joined its three sister ships in providing security services to the oil majors active in Nigeria’s territorial waters, together with additional support services including crew transfers and equipment deliveries.

A Damen 3307 Patrol Vessel has been delivered to Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Ltd of Lagos, Nigeria, taking its fleet of these craft up to three, with a fourth currently under construction. Guardian 3 along with its sister ships Guardian 1 and Guardian 2 is now providing security and other support services to the international offshore oil companies active off the coast of Nigeria in the Gulf of Guinea, in cooperation with the Nigerian Navy. New Patrol Craft to Serve Nigerian O&G Sector

Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Limited (HIOSL) will take delivery of its second Damen Fast Crew Supplier 3307 Patrol, 18 months after a sister vessel entered service in the Nigerian offshore market. Established in 2006, Lagos-headquartered HIOSL serves the Nigerian oil and gas industry with a range of maritime, security and logistics services. Currently undergoing sea trials in Singapore, Guardian 2 is expected to be directly employed when she arrives in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in December. HIOSL will then have five patrol vessels in its fleet.

Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Limited (HIOSL) has taken delivery of a Damen FCS 3307 Patrol, to be deployed offshore Nigeria, in the next few weeks. Established in 2006, HIOSL serves the Nigerian oil and gas industry with a wide range of maritime, security and logistics services. The Lagos headquartered company has ambitious plans to become the leading marine logistics provider in the Nigerian offshore industry. The Damen FCS 3307 Patrol, to be named Guardian 1, has just undergone sea trials in the Netherlands and will soon set sail to Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
