Royal Purple Debuts New Line of EALs

Synthetic lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple has launched its all-new BioMax line of Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EAL). Royal Purple said its BioMax Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants meet all environmental standards mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and are Vessel General Permit (VGP) compliant for use in oil-to-sea interfaces in vessels measuring 79 feet or greater in length. All BioMax lubricants are formulated with Royal Purple’s base oils and proprietary advanced additive technology, Synerlec.

Seaway Powell Appoints New Sales Director

Seaway Powell Marine Ltd (part of the PT Group), one of the leading British engineering companies specialising in the design and manufacture of marine hydraulic systems, is pleased to announce that it has appointed a new Sales Director for the U.K. and Europe, Jon Whetter. Jon Whetter joins the PT Group from Kawasaki Precision Machinery U.K. Ltd. (KPMUK), a division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Jon held the position of Sales and Marketing Manager for seven years with the responsibility of driving the sales of Kawasaki’s Precision Engineered Product range in the U.K., Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South and South East Asia. Prior to this role, Jon was KPMUK’s European Sales Manager for nine years.

Seaway Powell Marine, a British engineering companies specializing in the design and manufacture of marine hydraulic systems, has announced it will be manufacturing and distributing a new range of Victory Series Actuators. The Victory Actuator Series is an electromechanical ram-style actuator that is a low maintenance alternative to fluid power cylinders. Suited as a clean and efficient hydraulic cylinder replacement, it offers the end user a rugged, flexible, linear actuator platform for thrust and speed control.

Seaway Powell Launches Onsite Servicing and Repair

Seaway Powell Marine, a British engineering company specializing in the design and manufacture of marine hydraulic systems, now has a mobile service and repair team for winches, windlasses, hydraulic and conventional sail and rigging controls. The service will initially cover the area from Hamble to Weymouth, with Seaway Powell Marine engineers making regular calls into harbors, marinas and boatyards, as well as responding to individual requests from leisure and commercial boat owners.
