Oceaneering Exercise Charter Options on DP2 CSV
Oceanteam Shipping ASA says that Oceaneering International, Inc. has exercised both one year options on the CSV 'Bourbon Oceanteam 101' up to February 2017. The vessel will continue its field support services for work offshore Angola on blocks 18 and 31. Upon delivery in December 2007, this DP2 Construction Support Vessel has been operating as a field support vessel with BP Angola for the company's Greater Plutonium Field development (in Block 18). DOT Holdings Takes Half-Interest in New OSV
Oceanteam Shipping ASA says that it has secured, through its joint venture DOT Holdings AS, an interest in a new build Offshore Support Vessel, and as a result a 
partnership with Pacific Radiance Ltd., subject to certain conditions subsequent, has been established. Once full closure is reached the initial interest of DOT Holdings AS is 50%. The investment comes with an option to buy the remaining 50% after a period of 7 years against agreed terms. The commercial terms remain confidential. The project is fully financed upon closure of certain conditions subsequent. Closure of remaining conditions subsequent, are expected to be finalised in the coming month.
Oceanteam Focuses on Mexico Strategy
The company says it saw, with its early focus on Mexico, a long term strategy confirmed: its newly founded DOT Shipping partnership with Grupo Diavaz and the subsequent approval of the Mexican Energy Reform legislation is envisaged to create significant opportunities for the company. These important events triggered plans prepared by the company and have so far resulted in the order, finance and time chartering of two new build FSV's. Norway-based Offshore shipping company, Oceanteam Shipping ASA, highlights results in the first quarter of 2014 and draws attention to a Mexico J/V with PEMEX. Revenue from operations USD 15.1 million for the quarter. EBITDA from operations is positive USD 6.7 million for the quarter. Operating profit of USD 4.2 million. Net finance negative USD 3.7 million. CSV Southern Ocean is 100 percent consolidated from the first quarter due to change in control effective from 2014. Rentocean to Supply Offshore Brazil Project Cable Carousel
RentOcean, a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Oceanteam Shipping ASA, has been awarded a contract to supply Ceona with a certified 2000t modular carousel system and a loading tower with built-in 15t tensioner for a one-year project plus option for one additional year. The carousel and the additional equipment will be used on Ceona's Polar Onyx vessel for the installation of flexibles, which will take place in 2014 and 2015 offshore Brazil. Oceanteam CSV Charter Extended to 2018 by Fugro
Oceanteam Shipping ASA (OTS) confirm the extension of the bareboat charter of their 'CSV Southern Ocean' by Fugro TS Marine Australia until the end of 2018. CSV Southern Ocean is a large construction support vessel jointly owned between Bourbon Offshore Norway AS and Oceanteam Shipping ASA. The owners say that the extension of the bareboat charter will further strenghten their contract backlog and secure future earnings. The original charter was set to expire at the end of 2015. Oceanteam Shipping Order PSV/CSC Carousel
Oceanteam order a new 2000/4000 ton modular carousel for offshore applications. Carousels are used for storage during transportation and installation of flexible pipe, umbilicals, risers and other products for offshore applications. The new patented OTS carousel series are designed for flexibility and quick mobilisation on standard modern PSV/CSV type vessels with limited deck load capacity for this type of equipment. The modular systems are delivered to the mobilisation site in 40ft containers and can be mobilised without vessel under deck reinforcement requirements. All system components are 'plug and play' and interchangeable. The 2000t carousel is delivered in such a way that it can be extended to a 4000t load capacity carousel in a short period of time.
