Canadian Navy Orders Systems from Offshore Systems International

Offshore Systems International Ltd., a niche military contractor headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, announced that the Canadian Navy placed a new order for ECPINS Systems worth more tha $300,000 to Offshore to support urgent operational requirements on board Navy ships deploying as part of Canada’s contribution to the international war on terrorism. “The Canadian Navy is one of Offshore’s long-time customers and supporters, and we’re proud to be part of this important mission,” said John Jacobson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Offshore Systems. “These systems are our latest technology, and will provide navigational capabilities for the Navy that are the best in the world.

Offshore Systems Awarded New Geomatics Contracts

Offshore Systems International Ltd. (OSI) announced that its nautical charting and land-mapping division, OSI Geomatics, has received new orders worth more than CDN$1,500,000. The group of orders span the end of the company's third quarter and the beginning of the fourth quarter. "Our data production division continues to make excellent progress," said John Jacobson, OSI's President and CEO, "and we're pleased with its growing contribution to OSI's overall business. Our navigation systems business has a number of major quotes outstanding for ECPINS products to both commercial and military customers. The Geomatics contracts are for electronic nautical charting and digital land-mapping services for a combination of government, military, and private customers.

OSI Wins Royal Navy Deal

Offshore Systems International Ltd. said that its Navigation Systems unit has been selected for a major fleet-wide contract with the Royal Navy. OSI, as part of a successful teaming arrangement with Lockheed Martin UK and Kelvin Hughes Ltd., will begin to deliver ECPINS-M software to the Royal Navy fleet in mid-2004. The initial purchases total approximately CDN $3 million. The total contract value, including long term support and options for auxiliary systems and software development is approximately CDN $17.5 million. "Winning this contract is a significant milestone in the growth of our company," said John Jacobson, President and CEO of OSI. "The Royal Navy's selection has validated years of development work and reinforced our approach to this market.

OSI Gets Australian Navy Contract

Offshore Systems International Ltd. (OSI) announced that its teaming partner, Nautronix Ltd., has signed the final prime contract to supply the Royal Australian Navy with a fleet installation of OSI's ECPINS-MTM electronic chart navigation system. OSI Validation Vastly Expands Markets

Offshore Systems International Ltd. - a leader in electronic charts and positioning systems for the maritime industry -- announced that Offshore's Electronic Chart Precise Integrated Navigation System (ECPINS) has been validated by the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) of the U.S. Department of Defense for "proper and complete" display of NIMA Digital Nautical Chart (DNC) in Vector Product Format (VPF). DNC is the official electronic chart used by the U.S. Navy. Earlier this year, NIMA completed digitization of the worldwide DNC coverage required by the United States Navy for military use. OSI Delivers ECPINS System For Lockheed Martin Sea SLICE

OSI Wins New Zealand Navy Contract

Offshore Systems International Ltd. said its Navigation Systems business has been awarded a CDN$800,000 contract for the Royal New Zealand Navy's Project Protector naval shipbuilding program. Tenix Defence Pty Ltd. is prime contractor for the construction of seven new ships. The contract is to supply and install ECPINS(R) 4000 (Electronic Chart Precise Integrated Navigation System) on all seven new ships.

OSI Awarded Contract with the U.S. Office of Naval Research

Offshore Systems International Ltd. (OSI) has been awarded a contract worth $1.1M including all options with the United States Office of Naval Research (ONR). Under the terms of the contract, the company will build a software solution designed to emulate human decision-making and problem-solving skills. The system to be developed, called Situation And Threat Updates for Real Net-centric teams (SATURN), is based on a model of how humans perform analytic and perceptual problems. The development will address a number of high-level interpretation or information fusion problems that currently require human analysts to correctly interpret situations in the environment to make accurate predictions.

Offshore Books $1M Of New Business with USCG

Offshore Systems International Ltd. has received orders from Marinette Marine Corp. Shipyard for ECPINS systems for USCG Sea Going Buoy Tender WLB hulls 6 and 7 with an option for an additional nine systems through the year 2003. In addition, Offshore's wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary, Offshore Systems International Inc., has been selected by the USCG and Bollinger Shipyard to provide the Yokogawa EML500HV1 Electromagnetic Speed Log for the new USCG Coastal Patrol Boat (CPB) Program. The company has received orders for the first 13 CPB ship sets with an option for an additional 37 CPB ship sets over the next two years. The total value of the committed business is approximately $1,000,000 with the potential for significant new orders based on the options under the two contracts.

OSI Awarded $1.2M Contract with Royal Australian Navy

Offshore Systems International Ltd. has been awarded a $1.2 million contract to supply the Royal Australian Navy with immediate delivery of OSI's most advanced electronic warship navigation systems ('WECDIS'). OSI Secures Contracts

Offshore Systems International Ltd. has won new contracts for more than $341,467to immediately additional Royal Danish Navy ships with electronic chart navigation systems. OSI won its first open international win and major NATO contract outside of Canada in August 2001 with the Royal Danish Navy. OSI Secures Mapcon Mapping

Offshore Systems International Ltd. has been awarded mapping contracts totaling more than C$1.7 million in its fiscal fourth quarter ended November 30, 2005. This total includes the C$420,000 prime contract with Lake Havasu City Public Works Department announced on October 13, 2005. Mapcon creates and distributes geographical data products for federal, state, county, and city government customers around the world. OSI acquired Mapcon of Salt Lake City, Utah, in April 2005. Contracts awarded since the close of the Mapcon acquisition have totaled nearly C$3.5 million.
