LOC Group Wins BP Contract

LOC Group, a provider of services to the offshore oil and gas industry, announced it has become the third-party provider for marine assurance and inspection with BP Egypt.LOC Egypt has been awarded a two-year marine assurance and inspection contract by BP Egypt. This is the first time LOC Egypt has been awarded work by BP, the major oil and gas operator in Egypt. Jaya Delivers AHTS Vessel for Mermaid Marine

Offshore marine services provider Jaya, now part of Mermaid Marine Australia Ltd. (MMA), today delivered Jaya Majestic, a new state-of-the-art anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel into MMA’s international fleet. Jaya Majestic was built at the company’s Singapore shipyard and is the first vessel to be delivered following the acquisition of 100% of Jaya Holdings’ subsidiaries by MMA earlier this year. MMA is Australia’s largest marine services provider to the offshore oil and gas industry.

Swire Oilfield Services Plans More SE Asia Investments

Swire Oilfield Services, global supplier of cargo carrying solutions, modular systems, offshore aviation services and fluid management says it plans to further invest in Southeast Asia with the development of three new operational yards and the arrival of new rental equipment to its fleet. The company, which established its first Southeast Asia base in Singapore in 2010 and has since opened further bases across the region, is the largest supplier of DNV certified cargo carrying units in the Southeast Asia market. To better meet increasing customer demand in the region, the company has invested more than $10 million USD by expanding its cargo carrying unit rental fleet and further developing operating bases in Myanmar, Malaysia and Thailand.

NAVTOR Signs E-Navigation Agreement with DOF

STATS Group Adds New Directors

EnerMech Sets $452 Million 2014 Sales Target

Oil and gas services group EnerMech Ltd. has predicted 2014 turnover will increase to more than £280 million ($452m), a jump of £80 million ($129m) on the current year’s forecast and double the £144 million ($232m) revenue recorded in its 2012 annual accounts. The Aberdeen-based company’s 2012 group accounts showed an £11 million ($17.7m) profit (EBITDA) on revenue which grew 41% from £102 million ($165m), and it expects 2013 EBITDA to break the £20 million ($32m) barrier. Reflex Marine Launches Service Center

Reflex Marine, producer of the industry-leading Frog and Toro personnel carriers and expert in marine personnel transfer, continues to expand its global network of Accredited Service Centres (ASCs) with the launch of its latest Center in Canada.
