Repsol Extends Energy Swan PSV Charter

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS) has secured a contract extension with Repsol for its Enegy Swan platform supply vessel.The contract extension is in direct continuation of the current charter contract which started in 2021 when the large platform supplier was chartered. The extension kicks off in early July and will run until September 1, 2023.Repsol Norge will have an option to extend the charter further.The 2005-built Energy Swan vessel is of ST 216 design and is a large PSV / pipe carrier.

Atlantica Shipping Adds Fourth PSV to Fleet

Oslo-based offshore vessel owner Atlantica Shipping has taken delivery of its fourth platform supply vessel.The company said in a social media post that it had expanded its fleet with the 2005 built UT 755L Atlantica Server.The vessel, previously known as Energy Scout (according to the VesselsValue database), will be under technical management by Vestland Offshore.According to the vessel's AIS, the 71.9-meter-long platform supplier with a 693-square-meter deck is currently in Aberdeen.The Dina Scout, the Atlantica Provider, and the Atlantica Supplier are the other three offshore supply ships in Atlantica Shipping's fleet.2023 Outlook: The Offshore Service Vessel Market

Equinor Extends Solstad Offshore PSV Charter

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has secured a contract with Equinor for the platform supply vessel Normand Searcher.More precisely, Equinor has declared an option to extend the contract for the PSV for one more year to September 2023. The financial details were not disclosed.The oil and gas company has the option to extend the contract with a further four one-year contracts.The platform supplier has been on contract with Equinor since 2017.

Solstad Offshore Sells Platform Supplier to Atlantica Shipping

Solstad Offshore has sold the platform supply vessel Normand Aurora for an undisclosed fee.The Norwegian offshore vessel owner said that the delivery of the vessel to the new owner took place Tuesday, July 5, 2022.While Solstad did not say who the buyer was, the Norwegian company Atlantica Shipping confirmed it had bought the vessel."Today the PSV Normand Aurora was delivered to us. She will be renamed Atlantica Supplier. She is a 2005-built large PSV. After some years in lay-up, she will be reactivated and enter the market shortly. We wish her and the crew safe and prosperous voyages.

Norwind Offshore Takes Delivery of Norwind Breeze Vessel

Norwind Offshore, a Norwegian offshore wind-focused vessel owner has taken delivery of its first vessel - the Norwind Breeze - from Vard.The delivery took place Monday at 1 p.m. local time from Vard, Brattvåg, in Norway. Before the conversion, the service operation vessel used to be a platform supply vessel, previously known as MMA Responder.The vessel arrived in Norway in November 2021 where the rebuilding and outfitting process started.The vessel has been equipped with, among other, a larger and modernized accommodation (60 pax), and a large battery power system to reduce emissions.

Danish Fund Buys into Norwegian Offshore Wind Support Vessel Firm

Danish investment fund Navigare Capital Partners will become a shareholder in Norwind Offshore, an offshore wind-focused vessel company established in Norway in 2021.Navigare Capital Partners specializes in investments in maritime assets. Norwind Offshore, a recently established offshore wind services firm in Norway, has awarded VARD contracts for the design and construction of two additional Commissioning Service Operations Vessels (CSOVs).Norway's Farstad, Volstad, and Kleven in October 2021 teamed up and formed Norwind Offshore, a company focused purely on offshore wind. Announcing the company launch, they also announced orders with Vard for the delivery of three vessels by 2024, two newbuild CSOV, and one conversion of a platform supplier into a Service Operation Vessel (SOV).

Solstad Bags 572-day Charter for Platform Supplier in Australia

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Solstad Offshore has won a contract with Woodside in Australia for the platform supply vessel Normand Tortuga.The vessel will support the activities of the DPS-1 semisubmersible drilling rig on the Enfield P&A and Scarborough projects, starting in late Q1/early Q2 2022.During the period of the contract, the Normand Tortuga will be operating from Dampier, Western Australia.The vessel is on a firm 572-day contract, with additional extension options available to Woodside.

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has won a long-term contract for one of its platform supply vessels in the UK.The vessel has been contracted for one year, with further extension options included for up to two years. The contract starts in December 2021 in direct continuation of the vessel’s current contract. The contract is with an undisclosed North Sea operator.The 81.7 meter-long vessel has been working with this operator since June 2020, Solstad said.According to AIS data, the 2013-built platform supply vessel is currently docked in Aberdeen.

Ithaca Energy Charters Solstad Offshore Platform Supplier

Norwegian offshore support vessel firm Solstad Offshore has secured a term contract for the platform supply vessel Far Symphony in the UK North Sea.The contract is with the UKCS-focused oil and gas company Ithaca Energy.Under the charter, the platform supplier, equipped with DP 2 from Kongsberg, will be supporting Ithaca’s UK North Sea operations for a period of one year firm, with further options up to one year. Solstad did not share the financial details.The contract for the 2003-built, Ulstein-designed PSV will begin during this month.

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore is continuing with divestments of non-core vessels and has now sold the Rem Provider platform supply vessel.The vessel, built in 2007, was sold by Solstad Offshore's subsidiary Solstad Rederi AS and the vessel was delivered to the new owner took on Friday. "The sale of the vessel will result in an immaterial accounting effect for Q4 2021," Solstad Offshore said, without sharing further details on the buyer or on the sale value. VesselsValue values the vessel at $3,25 million, with demolition value at around $1,13 million.

Solstad Secures Contracts for Several PSVs, Anchor Handlers

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore said Wednesday it had won multiple vessel contracts and extensions, with a duration of the contracts of around 1,000 vessel days in total.Solstad's platform supply vessel Normand Leader has been contracted to support a project offshore Australia. Rem Offshore's Platform Supply Vessel Hired for Offshore Wind Work

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Rem Offshore has said its platform supply vessel Rem Trader has been awarded a contract in the offshore wind sector.Rem Offshore said in a social media post on Friday that the vessel - delivered in 2012, and formerly known as Brage Trader- had won a campaign contract for 2021 and 2022 with the Dutch offshore services company Van Oord. DOF Sells Platform Supplier Skandi Texel

Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF Rederi AS, a subsidiary of DOF, has sold the platform supply vessel Skandi Texel.DOF said Wednesday that the vessel had been sold to a Norwegian company. Solstad Offshore's subsidiary Farstad Supply has sold its platform supply vessel Far Splendour.According to Solstad, the 74 meters-long vessel was delivered to the new owner on Monday, May 10, 2021."The sale of the vessel will result in an immaterial accounting effect for Q2-2021," Solstad Offshore said.The company did not say who the buyer was, nor for what price the vessel was sold. VesselsValue, as per May 9, valued the platform supplier at $1.78 million.The medium-sized platform supply vessel of the Ulstein P106 design was built by Ulstein Verft in 2003.
