Strategic Marine Launches New Vessel

Strategic Marine, a specialist shipbuilder for the oil & gas sector, today launched the Jati Seven, its first ever Offshore 40 Generation 3 crew boat being built for long term customer, Dinastia Jati. Dinastia Jati is a prominent oil and gas services group based in Malaysia and the Jati Seven is the first in a series of three 3rd Generation vessels being built for them. The launch of Jati Seven represents the culmination of several years of evolutionary design and production. It also marks a new benchmark for the most efficient crew boat in the market for its class. Strategic Marine Scores Two Infrastructure Projects

Strategic Marine announced today it is constructing two marine infrastructure fabrication projects in its Vietnam shipyard. Both projects are for Australian clients. The first comprises three 60-meter pontoons and three 90-meter gangways for application in Gladstone Port Corporation's new tug base. First Vessel Launched for Oman's National Ferries

Asian shipbuilder Strategic Marine launched the Shanna, the first of two 45-meter ro-pax catamarans to the National Ferries Company of Oman. The vessel is the first of its kind built by Strategic at its Vietnam shipyard, underscoring the operation's multi-markets shipbuilding capability. The sister vessel, the Jawharat, will deliver at the end of November. "The global ferry market is of significant importance to us and we have strong pedigree in building these and similar types of vessels in our other regional yards," said Reece Newbold, Group Business Development Manager.
