Leibowitz Takes Over as Seabourn President
Carnival's luxury cruise brand Seabourn announced Thursday that Josh Leibowitz has been named president, effective immediately. He will report to Stein Kruse, group CEO of Holland America Group and Carnival UK.Leibowitz joined Carnival Corporation in 2013 as chief strategy officer and was also named senior vice president of Cunard North America in 2016. Natansohn Named Seabourn President
Deborah L. Natansohn has been named president of Seabourn Cruise Line. A well-known industry veteran, Natansohn most recently was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Cunard Line Ltd., where she spearheaded the launch of the celebrated Queen Mary 2 and the rebranding of the venerable line. Natansohn's appointment is part of a corporate restructuring in which the ultra luxury, all-suite Yachts of Seabourn will operate as an independent brand within the Carnival Corporation. Previously, Seabourn shared back-office functions with sister brand, Cunard Line, which is relocating to Valencia, California. Seabourn will remain based in Miami. The two brands will continue to share their national field sales force, which remains intact. Natansohn succeeds Richard D.
Windstar Executive Transfers To Carnival
Rick Meadows, 37, formerly vice president of sales and marketing for Windstar Cruises, a unit of Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL), has transferred to the parent company assuming the position of vice president of marketing. In this capacity, Meadows' responsibilities include evaluating potential e-marketing opportunities and further developing the World's Leading Cruise Lines, the marketing association for Carnival Corporation's six cruise brands. Meadows is expected to join Carnival Corporation early next month. "Rick has spent most of his professional life working at a Carnival- affiliated company so we are very pleased to have someone of his experience join our corporate marketing team," said Micky Arison, chairman and CEO for Carnival Corporation.
