McDermott Completes Pemex Compression Module

McDermott International, Inc. announced today that one of its joint venture companies, Qingdao McDermott Wuchuan Offshore Engineering Co. Ltd. (“QMW”), recently completed a fast-track compression process module fabrication subcontract for Jord Oil & Gas Systems B.V. (“JOGS”). JOGS is the prime contractor for the process modules for the jack-up compression platform which will connect to the PEMEX Akal G-1 platform offshore Mexico. The scope of work, awarded in the first quarter 2014, included construction-engineering, procurement of bulk materials, fabrication, pre-commissioning and transportation of three process modules, related skids and a flare boom.

McDermott Wins Indonesian Offshore Contract

McDermott International wins contract to develop offshore surface facilities & an infield flowline for the Kepodang Field. The contract was awarded to McDermott's Indonesian subsidiary by PC Muriah Ltd., an affiliate of PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. The field is located approximately 180 kilometers northeast of Semarang, Central Java, in water depths of up to 70 meters. The award includes the procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of a 5,802-tonne central processing platform; a 1,298-tonne wellhead platform; a 2.7-kilometer-long, 10-inch diameter infield flowline; and installation of remote control facilities at the onshore receiving facilities.

Hand-over of Su Tu Vang CPP

J. Ray McDermott, S. A. announced the handover of the Su Tu Vang Central Processing Platform for CuuLong Joint Operating Company (CLJOC) offshore Vietnam to enable production of first oil ahead of schedule. The project sets a benchmark in the industry for fabrication completion of a 15,500MT float-over deck in 22.5 months. The accomplishment was celebrated at the Su Tu Vang first oil ceremony held in Hanoi. “We were honored to participate in the Su Tu Vang CPP, a project that has given us immense satisfaction as we were involved from the first FEED engineering design through to completion.
