Morris brings with him an extensive background in Business Development and International marketing within the defense industry and experience leading large and small businesses. Before joining SAFE Boats International, Morris held the position of President and CEO of Allen-Vanguard Corporation, the leader in providing solutions for defeating terrorist and extremist threats. SAFE Boats Awarded USN Patrol Boat Contract
SAFE Boats International (SBI) has been awarded a contract to provide the United States Navy five (5) MK VI Patrol Boats (MK VI PB). The MK VI PB is the Navy’s next generation Patrol Boat and will become a part of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command’s (NECC) fleet of combatant craft. Navy Welcomes William P. Lawrence to the Fleet
The Navy welcomed guided-missile destroyer USS William P. Lawrence (DDG 110) into the fleet during a commissioning ceremony in Mobile, Ala., June 4. The newest Arleigh Burke-class ship, the 60th of its class, is named in honor of the late Vice Adm. William P. Lawrence, a highly-decorated Naval aviator and Vietname prisoner of war. Lawrence began his naval career as an academic scholar and athlete at the U.S. Naval Academy, where he later returned to occupy the Chair of Naval Leadership after retiring from active duty, Feb. 1, 1986.
