BHGI Hires Naval Architects Althouse and Kennedy

Bristol, R.I. based naval architecture, marine engineering and consulting firm Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) announced the continued expansion of its naval architecture and marine engineering firm with two new hires: Taylor Althouse and Kasey Kennedy.Althouse joined BHGI as a Naval Architect. Althouse graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Science in Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. During his time at the University of Michigan, Althouse interned at Hornbeck Offshore Services, LLC.

Cummins Names Rumsey Its First Female CEO

Cummins said Thursday that Tom Linebarger will end his term as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Jennifer Rumsey, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), will assume the role of President and CEO.Rumsey will be the seventh CEO and first woman to lead the company since it was founded in 1919. Bristol Harbor Group Announces Two New Hires

Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) announced the addition of naval architect Zachary Gilfus and mechanical engineer Marissa Stutzman to its naval architecture and marine engineering practice. Gilfus is the most recent addition to BHGI, joining the team at the end of August as a naval architect and marine engineer. Gilfus graduated this past spring from Webb Institute with a Bachelor’s of Science in naval architecture and marine engineering. During his time at Webb, Gilfus interned at four different companies including Carnival Cruise Lines and General Dynamics NASSCO.

Alma Martinez Fallon, HII's Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) director of supply chain procurement receives achievement award. Alma Martinez Fallon, director of supply chain procurement for the company's Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) division, is a recipient of an Inside Business 2012 Women in Business Achievement Award. Fallon was presented with the award during a banquet held at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. Women in Business Achievement Award recipients are selected by a panel of judges that reviews nominations from the public.
