Award Winning Vessel Designed Using QinetiQ Software

QinetiQ’s ship and submersible design software, Paramarine, has been used by Mojo Maritime to design an offshore construction vessel for the marine renewables sector. The Hi Flo 4 (HF4) is a dynamic positioning vessel capable of operating in extreme coastal and continental shelf environments, designed with the support of InnovateUK (formerly the Technology Strategy  Board). Newport News Selects Paramarine Design Software

QinetiQ’s Paramarine Ship and Submersible Design Software has been selected by Newport News Shipbuilding (NSS) as its primary naval architectural software. QinetiQ Paramarine Software will be used for all ships designed and built at its shipyard, including use on the U.S. Navy’s latest class of aircraft carriers and to support submarine research and development. QinetiQ’s Paramarine Selected by the Australian Maritime College

QinetiQ Maritime’s Paramarine ship and submersible design software has been selected by the Australian Maritime College (AMC) to use as part of their maritime engineering training program. Through AMC’s National Center for Maritime Engineering and Hydrodynamics, the software will assist students on a four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree that is accredited by Engineers Australia and recognized worldwide. “We selected Paramarine not only because of its extensive range of capabilities and functionality but also because it is so widely used by ship and submarine builders and designers around the world.
