Equinor Subsea Pact with Aker Solutions, TechnipFMC

Equinor is signing collaboration agreements with Aker Solutions and TechnipFMC for subsea equipment and services on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) and internationally.For several decades, the subsea segment has been central in developing Equinor and the NCS. Equinor is operating close to 600 subsea wells, which account for a considerable share of the company’s total production. Statoil Inks Subsea pacts with Duo

Statoil Petroleum AS has signed Master Service Agreements with Aker Solutions ASA and OneSubsea Processing AS. The agreements signed form the basis for potential new EPC contracts (engineering, procurement and construction) for subsea equipment in the medium term future. An EPC option agreement for subsea production system (SPS) has also been signed with OneSubsea, including framework agreements for subsea operations services and subsea add-ons. Last year Statoil also signed a Master Service Agreement and an EPC contract including options for EPC project with FMC Kongsberg Subsea AS for Johan Sverdrup. “In light of the current challenges the industry is facing the suppliers have demonstrated commitment and drive to break the cost curve and enhance competitiveness.

GE Oil & Gas Awarded Statoilhydro Contract

GE Oil & Gas announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver Subsea Operations Services (SOS) to StatoilHydro, the Norwegian based oil and gas company. The contract has an estimated value of between $25- $30m per year and will be managed by GE Oil & Gas in Dusavik, Stavanger, Norway. The scope of services to be provided under the agreement relate mainly to the installation and operations phases of StatoilHydro’s subsea fields, including: engineering, procurement, the production of equipment and tools, and electro and mechanical workshop services for corrective and planned maintenance in subsea drilling.
