Moller Retires from Teekay Board

Bjorn Moller is retiring from Teekay Corporation’s Board of Directors, the shipowner announced Wednesday.Moller has more than 35 years of service with the Teekay, including 22 years as a board member and more than 20 years in senior management positions. He was Teekay’s President and Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to 2011.Moller also served as Vice Chairman of Teekay GP L.L.C., the general partner of Teekay LNG Partners L.P., Vice Chairman of Teekay Offshore GP L.L.C., the general partner of Teekay Offshore Partners L.P.

Teekay Changes Board of Directors

The marine energy transportation company Teekay Corporation and its associate company Teekay Tankers have announced changes to its Board of Directors.Teekay Corporation said that C. Sean Day, Chairman Emeritus and Director, Tore Sandvold, Director, and Peter S. Janson, Director, are retiring from the Board after a combined 50 years with the Company’s Board. Teekay Offshore Taps Steinsland as CFO

Teekay Offshore GP LLC, the general partner of Teekay Offshore Partners L.P., announced today that Jan Rune Steinsland has been appointed the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Teekay Offshore Group Ltd., a management services company that provides services to the Partnership’s subsidiaries (together with the Partnership, the Teekay Offshore Group) effective September 3, 2018. Teekay Orders 3 Tankers for Canada Contracts

Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. informs it has entered long-term contracts to provide shuttle tanker services for a group of companies producing oil on Canada’s East Coast, including Chevron Canada, Husky Energy, Mosbacher Operating Ltd., Murphy Oil, Nalcor Energy, Statoil and Suncor Energy. The 15-year contracts, plus extension options, will initially be serviced by one of Teekay Offshore’s existing shuttle tankers, the Navion Hispania, and two to three third party-owned shuttle tankers currently operating in East Coast Canada, which will be chartered-in to Teekay Offshore’s Canadian affiliate located in St. John’s, Newfoundland, prior to the delivery of up to four shuttle tanker newbuildings.

QGEP to Acquire FPSO from Teekay

Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. has entered into an agreement with a consortium led by Queiroz Galvão Exploração e Produção SA (QGEP) to provide a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit for the Atlanta field located in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil. In connection with the contract with QGEP, the partnership has agreed to acquire the Petrojarl I FPSO from Teekay Corporation for $57 million. Subsequent to the acquisition, the FPSO will undergo upgrades at the Damen Shipyard Group's DSR Schiedam Shipyard in the Netherlands for a fully built-up cost of approximately $240 million, which includes the cost of acquiring the Petrojarl I. The FPSO is scheduled to commence operations in the first half of 2016 under a five-year charter contract with QGEP.

Teekay Offshore Buys Towage Firm, Orders New AHTS Vessels

Teekay Offshore Partners say they have agreed to acquire ALP Maritime Services B.V. (ALP), a Netherlands-based provider of long-haul ocean towage and offshore installation services to the global offshore oil and gas industry. Teekay Offshore Issues $53.4 Million Equity Private Placement

Teekay Offshore GP LLC., the general partner of Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. announced  that it has agreed to issue 1.75 million common units in a private placement to an institutional investor for proceeds of approximately $53.4 million (excluding the partnership's general partner's proportionate capital contribution). The partnership intends to use the proceeds from the sale of common units for general partnership purposes, which may include funding vessel conversion projects and future vessel acquisitions.

Teekay Acquires 50 Percent Interest in Itajai FPSO Unit

Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. announced that it has agreed to acquire a 50 percent interest in the Cidade de Itajai floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit from Teekay Corporation for a purchase price of approximately $204 million. The acquisition will be financed with assumed debt and proceeds from the recently completed equity private placement. The acquisition is expected to be completed on June 1, 2013, subject to customary closing conditions. The Itajai FPSO is operating on the Baúna and Piracaba (previously named Tiro and Sidon) fields in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil under a nine-year fixed-rate time-charter contract (plus extension options) with Petroleo Brasileiro SA.

Teekay Offshore Signs Brazil Shuttle Tanker Contract

Teekay Offshore GP L.L.C., the general partner of Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. (Teekay Offshore or the Partnership) TOO -0.92% , announced today that it has entered into a new long-term contract with a subsidiary of BG Group plc (BG) to provide shuttle tanker services in Brazil. The contract with BG will be serviced by four Suezmax-size DP2 shuttle tanker newbuildings to be constructed by Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea. Upon delivery in mid- to late-2013, the vessels will commence operations under 10-year time-charters. The contract with BG also includes certain extension options and vessel purchase options. Teekay Offshore Partners Q3 Results

Teekay Offshore GP L.L.C., the general partner of Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. (Teekay Offshore or the Partnership) (NYSE:TOO), reported the Partnership's results for the quarter ended September 30, 2010. During the third quarter of 2010, the Partnership generated distributable cash flow of $20.8 million, compared to $28.1 million in the quarter ended June 30, 2010, primarily as a result of seasonal factors associated with the scheduled maintenance of North Sea oil fields during the summer months. On October 25, 2010, the Partnership declared a cash distribution of $0.475 per unit for the quarter ended September 30, 2010. The cash distribution will be paid on November 12, 2010, to all unit holders of record on November 5, 2010.

Teekay Offshore Partners Reports 4Q and Annual Results

Teekay Offshore Partners reported its fourth quarter and annual results for 2007. Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. (Teekay Offshore or the Partnership) (NYSE:TOO) today reported net income of $7.0 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, compared to net income of $2.1 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. Net income before non-controlling interest included non-cash gains totaling $14.0 million relating primarily to foreign currency translation gains and deferred income tax recoveries in the fourth quarter of 2007, and non-cash losses totaling $10.6 million relating primarily to foreign currency translation losses and deferred income tax expenses in the previous quarter.
