Vistronix has acquired the Agency Consulting Group (ACG). The McLean Group's Aerospace, Defense & Government Services (ADG) practice served as the exclusive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisor to ACG. Founded in 2004 and based in Columbia, MD, ACG provides technical solutions in the areas of cloud computing analytics, critical systems infrastructure and specialized mission solutions. ACG is a primary architect of the intelligence community’s migration of applications, software and infrastructure to cloud-based, virtual environments. ACG maintains one of the largest contingents of Citrix, VMWare, Linux and Solaris certified engineers within the intelligence community.

The McLean Group announced that it acted as the exclusive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisor to 3 Phoenix, Inc. (3 Phoenix) in its sale to Ultra Electronics Holdings plc (Ultra) for an initial cash consideration of $70 million. Additional payments of up to $17 million will be due subject to earnings growth over the next three years. 3 Phoenix is a supplier of specialist sonar, radar, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance products and solutions. For 10 years, the company has delivered mission critical, real-time sensor and processing systems, primarily to the U.S. Navy, but also to commercial customers. 3 Phoenix is a bolt-on acquisition to Ultra's existing Tactical & Sonar Systems Division.

Ward has more than 20 years’ global strategy, business development and M&A experience supporting privately-held companies. He has worked across the transportation & logistics value chain, particularly in distribution, fulfillment and the maritime industry. Ward has expertise working with numerous business owners in both the sale and acquisition of mid-sized businesses. In his career, he has run a middle market distribution company and built global sales teams in the maritime equipment segment. Harry is a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and is based in Norfolk, Va.
