Ship Systems Purchases Site License for Wave Equipment Optimization System

Resurgence Software, Inc., and maintenance optimization software for the maritime industry, announced today an agreement to provide its Wave Equipment Optimization System and related support services to Northrop Grumman Ship Systems (NGSS). This comprehensive license agreement, with the Integrated Logistics Support group of NGSS' Full Service Operations, includes installation and use of the Wave system by NGSS along with their subcontractors during the construction phase of U.S. Navy ships being built in the company's LPD 17 Program. The Wave system complies with the military's requirement for a Failure and Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) under MIL-STD-2155. This military standard is part of the general requirements and specific tasks for reliability programs.

Lloyd’s Register and Resurgence Software Partner Up

Lloyd’s Register and Resurgence Software have partnered up, giving Lloyd’s Register rights to jointly market Resurgence Software’s industry leading equipment reliability analysis software system Wave. Wave is a ship equipment reliability analysis software tool that helps ship owners and operators better manage their fleets. It aims to increase revenue through optimization of reliability-related maintenance practice and reliability-related downtime losses. It provides users with critical equipment reliability information to make better decisions when setting maintenance policies and practices, and making repair vs. replace and equipment procurement decisions. Lloyd’s Register plans to make Wave a key part of its risk and reliability offering to the marine industry.

LSM Implements Wave Software System

Resurgence Software, Inc. announced that London Ship Managers, Ltd. (LSM) has implemented its Wave Software System in a portion of its fleet. This agreement is a direct result of the Resurgence Software joint marketing alliance with Lloyd's Register, and marks LSM's continued commitment to improving operational efficiency and customer service through the strategic use of technology. "The adoption of our system by LSM demonstrates the continued acceptance of equipment reliability software as a maritime industry standard, and is a further validation of our relationship with Lloyd's Register," said Tom Bubrig, president of Resurgence Software.
