Growing up in the under-developed Eastern Cape awoke the desire in Sibongile Ngumbe, National Ports Authority’s (NPA) first female Port Engineer, to contribute to improving the lives of people in the region. SENESCO Expands Management Team
Southeastern New England Shipbuilding Corporation (SENESCO) has appointed four new executives in a move prompted by the company’s growth over the past six months. The new executives include the company’s first chief financial officer and other senior level financial and operations staff. Gordon W. Fletcher, appointed as SENESCO’s first CFO, will direct the company’s financial affairs, including overseeing all contracts, developing financial statements, implementing new financial policies and procedures and supervising the accounting department. Fletcher is a CPA who received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa. While in South Africa, he worked as an audit supervisor for KPMG and as a finance manager for a construction general contractor.
