De Nora Acquires Severn Trent's Water Purification Business

De Nora announces the completion of the acquisition of the Water Purification group of Severn Trent Services. The new business line, called De Nora Water Technologies, will be focused on delivering sustainable and innovative water and wastewater technologies for municipal, marine and energy related water treatment applications. De Nora Water Technologies, together with Ozono Elettronica Internazionale, a global leader in ozone technologies acquired in May, will be integrated into the De Nora business. Evac On Board Atlântico Sul Shipyard's New Tankers

Evac's complete wastewater system is onboard MT João Cândido, the first Suezmax tanker recently delivered by Atlântico Sul Shipyard (EAS) for Transpetro. Evac was selected for the first series of ten 160,0000 dwt Suezmax tankers and for the series of five 110,000 dwt Aframax tankers, also being built by Atlântico Sul Shipyard, the largest and most modern shipyard in Brazil. The delivery of MT João Cândido is a historical milestone for the shipbuilding industry in Brazil. Evac is proud to be a supplier for this vessel. Severn Trent Expands Wastewater Markets, Asia Pacific

Severn Trent Services announced a major expansion of its sales and service operations in the Asia Pacific region with recent hirings and promotions of six water and wastewater professionals – four in its Shanghai, China, office and two in Singapore. The moves will enable the company to take advantage of fast-growing business opportunities in the region through the sales and service of its line of water and wastewater technologies. According to Marwan Nesicolaci, vice president of international sales and business development for Severn Trent Services, “The Asia Pacific, particularly China, represents one of the most dynamic regions in the world for water and wastewater treatment technologies.
