Cohen Retires from ExxonMobil, McCarron to Takeover

Ken Cohen, vice president, Public and Government Affairs, Exxon Mobil Corporation, has announced his intention to retire effective Jan. 1, 2016, after more than 38 years of service. It is anticipated that the board of directors will elect Suzanne McCarron as vice president, Public and Government Affairs, Exxon Mobil Corporation. McCarron is currently general manager, Public and Government Affairs, and president, ExxonMobil Foundation, the primary philanthropic arm of the Exxon Mobil Corporation in the United States. The ExxonMobil Foundation is focused on creating economic opportunities for women, support for math and science education and efforts to combat malaria.

Cruise Employee Earns Advance CLIA Certification

Dana Gain, Carnival Cruise Lines’ business development director for Western Ontario, recently became the first employee in the cruise industry to earn a Cruise Counsellor Scholar (ECCS) designation from the Cruise Lines International Association, the marketing and travel agent training arm for the North American cruise industry. CP Ships Appoints Director of Environmental Services

CP Ships Limited has appointed environmental management specialist Dennis Fortune as its first Director of Environmental Services, based in Montreal. Mr Fortune is responsible for leading CP Ships' extensive environmental management program which involves all aspects of the company's operations including marine and terminal activities, hazardous cargo handling, occupational health and safety and compliance with local and international regulations. "We are proud of our environmental management track record and, with Dennis's extensive experience, we look forward to building on our strengths," commented CP Ships' CEO Ray Miles.
