The Mission to Seafarers and The Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry teamed up over the weekend to collect and distribute 1,000 Ramadan gifts for the seafarers who live and work onboard the dhows moored along Dubai Creek.

The Mission to Seafarers in Dubai, part of the international organization that cares for seafarers regardless of race or religion in more than 300 ports around the world, honored the rich culture of the UAE’s marine industry with these gifts. The packages included toiletries and a box of dates wrapped in a t-shirt.
