Cathelco ICCP for Concept Jack-Up
Cathelco is supplying an ICCP hull corrosion protection system for a new type of jack-up vessel which is being constructed for Master Marine of Norway who specialize in the transport and installation of heavy structures for the offshore energy industry. The vessel, known as Service Jack 2, will initially be used to install wind turbines in the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm which is located in the Greater Wash approximately 9 miles north of the town of Sheringham in Norfolk, United Kingdom.

Cathelco Protects New USCG Cutters
A series of fast response cutters being built for the U.S. Coast Guard will be protected against hull corrosion and marine pipework bio-fouling with a system manufactured by Cathelco Ltd. The Sentinel Class cutters, measuring 154 ft in length and capable of speeds of more than 28 knots, are being constructed at the Bollinger Shipyardās facility in Lockport, La. The order for the Cathelco equipment has been won by Russ Equipment Co. Inc., Cathelcoās agent based in New Orleans.

Battleship Missouri Reopens
Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard commander Capt. Gregory R. Thomas joined the Battleship Missouri Memorial in saluting its volunteers and supporters as the historic ship fully reopened to visitation following a multimillion-dollar drydocking project. Cathelco Joint Venture, Brazil
The resurgence of shipbuilding in Brazil has led Cathelco to set up a joint venture with Workship do Brasil, Rio de Janeiro based marine equipment suppliers, which will now be known as Cathelco Brasil. Cathelco, based in the UK, is a manufacturer of marine pipework anti-fouling systems and impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) systems for ships, FPSOs and semi-submersibles. Cathelco currently has over 20,000 installations on record.
