Cranes for Hudong Shipyard

This week Dreggen Crane A.S received order for 24 different cranes from the Chinese yard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding. The orders has a total value of Nok 5.000.000,- The cranes will be used on four 72.000 DWT oil tankers and seven 74.500 DWT Bulk Carriers on order at the yard. On two of the oil tankers Dreggen will deliver the complete crane outfit consisting of one Hose handling crane with capacity of 15 ton at 24 m, one electric Monorail provision crane with capacity of 3 ton and one electric Engine room crane with capacity of 4 ton. On the other vessels Dreggen will deliver one 4 ton electric Monorail crane and one 4 ton electric Engine room crane to each vessel. Dreggen has a long lasting co-operation with Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding and since 1994 Dreggen has delivered over 100 cranes to the yard. Sales network in China Since 1992 Dreggen has developed an extensive sales network in China with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dalian and Wuhan. This has resulted in that 30 % of Dreggens complete turnover are now coming from China. Company information Today Dreggen Crane A.S is located with offices and production facilities by the seaside in Bergen, on the west coast of Norway, with a total of 2000 m2 in workshops and offices. The employees of Dreggen Crane A.S have long experience with design and engineering of marine cranes of all kind, such as monorail provision cranes, engine room cranes and slewing cranes (hose handling, cargo, provision, general purpose and combined cranes for handling of provision and life saving equipment).
