Press Release
Tuesday, December 18, 2012

Volvo Penta announce key appointments to its newly-formed Volvo Penta Region Americas organizational structure.

The company's organizational realignment brings together all of North, Central and South America, and the Caribbean under a unified management structure. Customers, OEMs and dealers will see more direct and coordinated support within the Americas. The addition of the Latin America organization comes into effect Jan. 1, 2013.

Julia Zelenock has been named director of marketing. She will be responsible for managing and implementing a strategic marketing plan that builds, promotes and communicates Volvo Penta’s brand, products and services in the marine and industrial market sectors.

Marcelo Puscar has been appointed director of marine sales for Latin America with responsibility for sales of marine gas and diesel engines.

Elpidio Luiz de Narde has been promoted to director of aftermarket sales and customer support for Latin America. He will be responsible for all aspects of applications, technical support, warranty, parts and accessories in the marine and industrial sectors.

All three of the newly named directors will report directly to Ron Huibers, president of Volvo Penta Region Americas. “These three key appointments will deliver customer growth in the Americas and greatly strengthen our marketing, sales and service organization,” said Huibers. “We will announce other key appointments in the coming months as we continue to focus on achieving even higher levels of customer satisfaction.”
