Royal Caribbean Cruises Added to NASDAQ Sustainability Index

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCL) recognized as one of the top 100 companies in the world for its sustainability practices.

The NASDAQ OMX CRD Global Sustainability Index is designed to track the performance of companies that are taking a leadership role in sustainability performance reporting. These companies have voluntarily disclosed their carbon footprint, energy usage, water consumption, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, employee safety, workforce diversity, management composition and community investing.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. recently published its annual Stewardship Report , which provides updates on the company's recent performance, progress and activities for Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International in nine important areas of stewardship: energy and air emissions; water and wastewater; waste and chemical management; conservation, destinations and education; community involvement; safety and security; medical operations; public health; and human resources.
