Thompson Joins USMI

United States Marine, Inc (USMI), a small business that designs and builds fast patrol and other special operations craft for the U.S. military, has announced the addition of Evin Thompson as Program Executive for itsVirginia division. 

 

In this new position,  Thompson will be the focal point for off-site program support for craft previously designed, manufactured and delivered to Naval Special Warfare Group 4 and subordinate commands.   Prior to joining the USMI team, Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Navy/Naval Special Warfare community for 30 years obtaining the rank of Captain prior to his retirement.  His various assignments included Commanding Officer of NSW Group Four, Director, J8 for Joint Special Operations Command, and Deputy Command of Special Operations Command South.  Mr. Thompson retired as a Naval Special Warfare Branch Head, Expeditionary Warfare, OPNAV staff in 2012.  Evin and his wife, Vickie, currently reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
