Passengers were transferred from Indonesia-registered Sea Prince after the ferry struck a floating object after leaving the Nongsapura ferry terminal in Batam late on November 29.
All passengers are accounted for, and the ferry is in stable condition.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) , the ferry was in Indonesian waters at the time of the incident and was heading for Singapore with 97 passengers, including 51 Singaporeans and seven crew.
The ferry operator, Batamfast, immediately activated two ferries to transfer all the passengers to the Nongsapura ferry terminal.
